Just blog hopping. Hope you're having a good week!
I am getting bloody lazy at keeping this thing updated. I am currently like the walking dead. We had a fab gig in Southampton with U-rythmics who are ace and we are gigging with them agan at the Robin in October (not July I will update the tour dates later). We had a fab night and got back to Wales for 6am only to get up again to open da Pub so very tired but happy. So we waved bye bye to our lovely Ben last week who did his last gig with us in Belfast. It was an amazing gig and I have loads of lovely photos. There are some on the Belfast Empire site as well. Please note the new dep keyboard player who looks amazingly like Avid Merrion. He will kill me for writing that but it is funny Tee Hee. The week before that we were in Crewe and another fab night was had by all. What a run of gigs. Crewe, Belfast and then Southampton topper most! i hear another Blondie tribute has been using our website and contacting the places where we gig. Very sad and I am not at all surprised any more. Has anybody been watching that One and only show. How tasteless! They did email us to feature on it but thankfully we were far to busy. I actually think that none of them will last in Vegas, the standard is far to high over there. I thought that the show was meant to show the creme de la creme of tribute acts/bands and not a bad rejg of Stars in their eyes. Oh well never mind.. soon be Christmas

Aren't they sexy?! LOL I did own a pair and they are wonderful!
Hi everyone. I have just found a few mins to write up the Blog before we see the end of this year. It has been all go here as you can understand. Gigs this month have been great with playing to sell out crowds at Telfords Warehouse in Chester, people where queing around the block, and playing local gigs such as the Roadhouse in Brum ( Thanks Roxy for the email) and also a visit back to Cox's Yard in Stratford. Sadly two gigs were cancelled due to either Pub Closure or problems at the Venue. Its so sad that this is happening.
This year has ben strange. We have had wonderful memebrs leave our band to move onto pastures new and I wish them all the very best and keep in touch. We also have two new wonderful members that are enjoying themselves and are having fun. One is my Brother In Law that some of you have already met and Paul is our new guitarist who has replaced Wes. Paul has been in loads of bands both tribute and original and I hope he enjoys his stay with The Bleach.
Can I also thank all of you that have shown your continued support over the last 13 years. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you, and thanks for showing your support in emails and some of you who phoned to show support when I had bit of trouble during July/August with another band.
Well, the band aren't gigging New Years Eve but I shall be doing a little stint here in the Pub. Fingers crossed it goes well. I get more nervous here then ever!
Happy New Year to all of you and see you in 2008

Has it really been a month since I last wrote? Does anyone really read this anyway?
Sketcchley Grange Hotel gig was great and also a little strange doing a gig for Britvic who supply my pub with drinks Tee Hee. Also the DJ had an amazing light show and I am really keen to buy a Wizard. They are amazing but a little pricey. Ebay here I come!!
A brilliant gig with The Ramone Clones at The Robin in Bilston. These guys rocked and are well worth checking out. The lead singer is Joey to a T. This has to be the best Ramones Tribute in the UK. Top one lads and thanks for all the lovely comments that you sent via MySpace. I guess that is why I dont update this page so often because everything always goes to MySpace page instead.
We thought that The Marine Theatre gig was going to be a quiet one due to the Rugby, I forgot it was on I'm afraid now that I am living in another Country. ahahaha. but this gig was brilliant and well rocked. New people are in to run it and you can tell the difference, not that it was bad before at all but what I mean is that the building is still going strong. There were rumours it was shutting but this IS NOT TRUE.
The following day we played another Theatre. This gig was rescheduled from Septemebr because I was ill and it was a sell out gig. A lovely Theatre and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thanks for all the lovely comments and emails that have been left in the Guestbook. See you next year xxxxx
And the last gig of the year at The Oxford Arms. We have one booked for Jan before Mark (the Landlord) moves on to pastures new. Again, this gig was a total sellout and it was a really hot and sweaty one with a 7 piece band. Yes I trippled booked my guitarists, oh what a tit I am but what running a Pub, starting the new Pubwatch scheme in my area and being the first pub in Wales to sponsor a school to teach kids on alcohol awareness, I think you can forgive me.
So don't forget if your on the way to Llangollen stop by Newbridge and pop in for a pint.
Looking forward to Christmas

Hello fellow Bleachsters. Many thanks for your emails from our previous gigs and apologies to those of you who bought tickets for the shows we had to cancel due to illness. I had lost my voice and so the Helmsley gig has been rearranged for Sunday Oct 21st. All tickets are still valid and look forward to seeing oyu then.
The Limelight gig in Crewwe was totally amazing. We had the busiest night there and at one point whent hecrowd shouted for more I thought there was going to be some sort of mini war. It was a most excellent night and I throughly enjoyed it , I think I can speak for the lads who really enjoyed it as well.
The rest of the month was filled up with gigs that we were making a return visit to and we weren't disappointed. Both kirkhamgate Village hall was a sell out and thanks to Shaun fo all his help with the sound and a big hug to the lovely Holly who wore the most amazing pink and glitter Debbie Harry T Shirt. Also to her friends who had found two baseball jackets with Blondie emblazened all over them. Very cool and great fun.
The Square and Compass were our gigs last week and again alot of familar faces which is always great to see. We have a great night here and thanks to Dennis for the drink after the show. Even though it is getting much colder outside these past few nights, it has certainly been hot in the venues!!!!
Since we have moved to Wales it was nice geting a gig that was 6 minutes up the road. We played for the first time in Wrexham and although a mainly Soul and Motown loving area they did enjoy our night of Blondie hits and 80's covers and we picked up a few more bookings frm there. Thanks to Chris Jones for all his hard work which is never a thankful task and densel for providing the sounds in between. Everyone knows us in Wrexham now after being in the Wrexham Leader about 6 times LOL
